Our mission at Lead the Way Equine Therapy is to brighten your day by sharing the happiness and unconditional love our miniature horses provide.

About Us

Our mobile equine assisted activities include visits to long-term care facilities, hospitals, private residences and hospice centers.

We also visit children with disabilities and special needs childcare centers along with therapy and ABA offices.

Why We're Different

Miniature horses have the ability to truly feel what you are feeling. They have a sense of compassion and kindness to them that makes them perfect for therapy work. They can sense when you are sad, lonely, need a smile, or just want some extra snuggles. The need to make you smile and lift your mood is one of the best qualities the miniature horse brings to our visits.

Each miniature horse we have has a special personality that is thoughtfully considered when we decide who to bring with us on visits. We always leave visits with more smiles, laughter, and fullness in our hearts than when we arrived.

Our Impact

Lead the Way Equine Therapy is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization which enables you to donate and receive the tax benefits. Your generous donation for our visits will go entirely towards our mini horses and operational expenses.

We now offer contracts that will secure a weekly/biweekly/or monthly visit which encourages residents and staff to get to know the minis and also have something to look forward to.
